If you suppose that radio is a communication material in that story, what might it symbolizes?

What is the most obvious addiction, of one of the characters, that you realize?

And how can we relate this addiction to Cheever’s life?

Do you think that is there a lack of communication? And what happens when they begin talking to eachother?

If you were Irene Wescott, would you do the same?(in terms of not repecting others’ private life)

What might be the other reasons for eavesdropping except her curiosity ?
